Immunizations

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we prepare for the start of the 2025–2026 school year, we want to remind all families of the importance of ensuring that students are up to date on their required immunizations. State law mandates that all students meet specific vaccination requirements in order to attend school, and we must have valid documentation on file before your child can begin classes.

Please review your child’s immunization records with their healthcare provider to ensure compliance with the following required vaccinations:

·       DTaP (Diphtheria, Tetanus, and Pertussis)

·       IPV (Polio)

·       MMR (Measles, Mumps, and Rubella)

·       Varicella (Chickenpox)

·       Hepatitis B

·       Any additional vaccines required by state or local health authorities

If your child is entering kindergarten, 7th grade, or transferring from another school, updated immunization records are especially important. Please submit an updated vaccination record or a valid exemption form to the school nurse no later than August 25, 2025.

Students who do not have complete immunization records or valid exemptions on file by the deadline may not be permitted to attend school until requirements are met.

If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact our school nurse at _______or visit the Charles County health department website for more information.

Thank you for your attention to this important matter and for helping us keep our school community healthy and safe. I have attached a copy of all required immunizations for students across all grade levels below.

Sincerely,

 Principal Valmond
